Contemporary Slatted Fencing Ideas for Gardens in EN5

A new fence can do more than replace an old boundary. It can help bring the whole garden together, particularly around a patio or seating area.

This EN5 design concept combines horizontal timber slats with simple planting and a calm, contemporary finish.

The design

The proposed specification uses exterior-grade treated timber slats, suitable supporting posts and corrosion-resistant fixings. Slat width, spacing and colour would be selected with you.

The spacing shown creates a lighter, more open appearance. If privacy is your priority, we would discuss a more closely screened arrangement before agreeing the design.

How our team would approach your project

During a free consultation, we would measure the fence line, discuss the boundary and check how the new screen would meet existing walls, gates and planting.

Our team would prepare the supports, install the slats with consistent spacing and finish the corners and ends neatly. Your quotation would explain the full scope, including any removal and disposal of existing fencing.

The intended result

A clean-lined backdrop that complements the garden and makes the seating area feel more considered and inviting.

With Verdant Vision Pro Ltd, you receive a detailed quotation, no upfront deposit and an agreed stage-payment schedule. Our own insured team completes the installation without subcontractors, with a five-year workmanship warranty subject to written terms.
