Fencing Project: Black Metal Railings and Front Garden in Barnet EN5

As part of a new front garden in Barnet EN5, our team installed black metal railings along the boundary to give the homeowner a secure, smart edge to the property that still keeps the front of the house open and light.

What we installed

Black powder-coated metal railings with spear-top finials, set along the front and side boundaries, with a new planting strip between the railings and the paving. The railings were fitted alongside a new multi-tone grey block paving driveway with a slot drain.

Why railings

Railings mark the boundary clearly and add security without blocking light or views, which suits front gardens where a solid fence would feel closed in. They also work well with hedging or planting behind them.
